just wanted to give a short update on phase 2 of sharing life. for some, you might be wondering what sharing life is. sharing life is a community outreach center in mesquite that reaches out to the community around it and helps people with their basic needs of food, clothing and many other things! earlier this year, catalyst, along with some other churches helped to renovate one half the sharing life facilities termed “phase 1″. we repaired sheetrock, painted, laid 800 feet of tile and much much more, all at no cost to the center. click on the “serve projects” tab to look back at the history of the sharing life project.

so on to phase 2…

we are planning to get together next saturday october 11th for a fun day of painting, hanging out and remodeling! we will be meeting at about 9am at sharing life (directions), so come in your old work clothes and get the word out! the more the merrier!
